Outreach & Partnerships

Oxford UMC actively contributes to the community around us. 
 
Our food pantry serves the community. The food pantry is stocked through the generosity of our members. There are several faithful members who volunteer to serve our brothers and sisters who come to our food pantry each week. The food pantry is open Wednesdays from 2 pm - 3 pm. And the FIRST Saturday of each month from 12 noon - 2 pm.
 
Oxford currently partners with the following local organizations:
 
Eva's Heroes - Monthly drum circle for program participants takes place on the 4th Tuesday of every month beginning at 6 p.m. 
 
Sweet Adeline's - This group of wonderful singers meets weekly on Tuesday evenings. 
 
Alamo Community Marching Band- This group of adult volunteer musicians practices every Monday in the Oxford Family Life Center. The A.C.C.M.B. marches in several fiesta and seasonal parades.  
 
Cub Scouts Pack 25- The Cub Scouts meet at Oxford on Tuesday evenings during the school year. Oxford hosts the annual Pinewood Derby and many Crossover events and Pack Meetings. For more information, contact the church office.
 
Christian Senior Services / Meals on Wheels - Oxford is a Meals on Wheels center. Meals are delivered out of our Family Life Center. Our church members actively participate as Meals on Wheels drivers on various routes.
 
YMCA - Oxford hosts the YMCA Spring Break Camp, Summer Camp, Thanksgiving Break and Christmas Break Camps.
 
San Antonio Christian Family Fellowship- Made up of friends from the Indian community, this group gathers in the Family Life Center for fellowship and Bible study on 2nd. and  4th. Saturday evenings.
 
Mar Thoma Indian Church - Oxford hosts this Christian community's worship services and fellowship events in our Family Life Center.
