United Methodist Women
Oxford has a very active United Methodist Women's Chapter. Our chapter President is Linda Hensley. The UMW Mission Team leaders meet every first Wednesday at 5 pm. Our UM Women participate in various mission projects through the Methodist Healthcare Ministries Wesley Center, the Adopt a Family Christmas Project, Project Linus, Collecting Children's Socks & Undies for Back to School. Our UM Women host The Annual Ice Cream Social which is a free event in which donations are accepted to help fund our United Methodist Women. The women also work in our Annual Rummage Sale and Fall Craft Fairs.
* The Dorcas Circle meets every 3rd. Tuesday at 9:30 am in the Family Life Center.
* The Kneeling Sisters Circle meets on the First Monday of each month at 6:30 pm in the Gym Classroom.
Women's Bible Study
Tuesday mornings from 10:30 am - 11:30 am in the choir room. The study group does not meet in the summer months. For more information, contact Oxford member Diane Waldron.
The women of the church attend a refreshing weekend getaway retreat each year. Dates will be posted for upcoming retreats. One-day mini-retreats also occur throughout the year as well.
FREE ZUMBA Classes
Tuesday's at 7 pm in the Choir Room located in the Sanctuary.
Women's Christmas and Spring Tea Events
The Women's Tea Events are highlights every year at Oxford. You can bring a friend, be a table hostess, and treat yourself and others to a special afternoon of fellowship, music, and delightful food. Contact Oxford member Teri Boldt.
