** All our classes and Children's Church are currently meeting via Zoom to ensure the health and safety of all participants during Covid-19. 


Oxford offers a host of spiritual growth opportunities, anchored by a dynamic Sunday School program. We offer children/youth classes and adult classes each Sunday at 10:30 am. and 11:30 a.m. 

Children and Youth Sunday School Classes

These classes use an age-appropriate, activity-based (games, songs, pictures) curriculum to begin teaching young ones about Christianity. All classes are in the Education Building at 10:30 am.

  • Pre-school-"Lilies"  Education Building Nursery at 10:30 a.m..

  • CHILDREN'S CHURCH - For Elementary school-aged students. Meets Sundays at 11:30 a.m. in the Education Building. 
  • YOUTH - "SAMARITANS" - DeKing Gym upstairs. Explores contemporary issues in light of God's eternal truths-to build and strengthen each member's personal faith and equip them for living.


Adult Sunday School Classes

  • CHRISTIAN LIVING TODAY (Adults, Meets in Classroom in Gym)- Dealing with the basics of Christianity and the unique spiritual and life issues that today's Christian adults face. Led by Tony Thompson.
  • C.E.O.'s Christians Educating Others (Younger adults, Meets in Conference Room of Education Building) - Studies current books on current topics. Led by Pastor Johnny & Idaly Cantu. 
  • FOLLOWERS (Older Adults, Meets in Double Classroom in Education Building)- Studying different books of the Bible as part of group discussion. Led by Kevin Wilson. 
  • In Search of God’s Plan (Adults, Meets at 8:30 am) Rooms 3-4, Education Building. (Meets at 8:30 am) Group led.

Seasonal Offerings

  • LENTEN BIBLE SERIES - On Wednesday evenings, beginning with Ash Wednesday and ending the first Wednesday before Easter, Oxford offers a six week Bible study to help prepare you for the resurrection of our Lord.
  • ADVENT BIBLE SERIES - This series is patterned after the Lenten Bible studies and is a four-week session in preparation for the birth of our Savior.
  • WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY (after supper) - A series of short (6 to 8 weeks) Bible-based studies on different topics.
  • CONFIRMATION CLASSES FOR YOUTH (Sunday afternoons in Spring) Prepares class participants for the sacrament of Confirmation. An overnight retreat is held and a banquet is hosted to celebrate the confirmands.
