Music Ministry
Oxford has a variety of areas you can share your musical gifts and talents in.
The Oxford UMC Adult Choir practices every Wednesday from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm in the Choir Room of the Sanctuary Building and sings at the 9:15 am Traditional Worship Service. The choir performs an annual Christmas Cantata. Please contact Paul Rauschhuber to join this group at musmin@oxfordumc.org
The Redemption Praise Band (adults) practices every Thursday from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm in the Sanctuary and leads worship every Sunday at the 11:30 am Contemporary Worship Service. The band features vocalists and instrumentalists who play today's favorite Christian songs and yesterday's hymns with a current flair.

The T-Tones Chime Choir practices every Thursday from 5:15 pm to 6:15 pm in the Choir Room of the Sanctuary Building and performs every third Sunday at the 9:15 am traditional service.
The Tongues of Fire Youth Band practices every Thursday starting at 7:00 pm in the Choir Room in the Sanctuary Building and leads worship every third Sunday at the 11:30 am contemporary service. The Children's Choir for ages 5 years through 5th Grade practices every Wednesday during the public school year (September thru May) from 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm in the Choir Room of the Sanctuary Building.
