Backpack Ministry
2024 BACKPACK MINISTRY
The Backpack Ministry is well under way. Backpacks have arrived. Pencils, pens, paper, notebooks, pencil boxes, composition books, crayons, and colored markers are here ready to be 'stuffed'. And more supplies are on the way!
Thanks to a multitude of volunteers and donors, this year's ministry is sure to bring great blessings to all - the workers, donors, and receivers! AND ...thanks to the hard work a our Backpack Ministry chair, Ana Davis, our volunteers, and donors, McDermott Elementary School will receive hundreds of backpacks stuffed with school supplies.
- Backpacks will be filled on August 10, 2024. Meet in the church Education Building at 9:00 am.
- Backpacks will be blessed on August 11, 2024 during our 10:00 am Sunday Service.
- Backpacks will be delivered to McDermott Elementary School on August 14, 2024. Meet in front of the church Education Building at 9:00 am.
