Pugh Scholarship Update 04-16-2025:The Pugh Scholarship Committee is currently monitoring the status of the endowment that funds the scholarship. As of now, we are waiting to see if the endowment meets the necessary financial threshold to allow us to offer the scholarship for the 2025–2026 academic year.We are hopeful, but also mindful of the importance of maintaining the long-term sustainability of this scholarship, which has blessed many students over the years. We will provide an update as soon as more information is available.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support for our students and this important ministry.In January of 1998, an academic scholarship was established at Oxford United Methodist Church as a memorial with the specific purpose of awarding educational scholarships for post-secondary school education.The scholarship is intended to provide financial aid to those in need that will allow the student to continue their education or training within the education system, or as additional training towards a productive job.The scholarship is for one year, payable by semester to the institution. Scholarship recipients must reapply each year.For full details and guidelines, please read the application.
